Request for Comments

Dear OPIOID Treatment Software Vendor,

To provide interoperability and reduce the need for duplicate data entry, the D-ATM application uses an application program interface (API) for data transfer between D-ATM and the clinical system in use at a clinic or program. The PDF document below describes the architecture and various methods to access the API with sample code. To use the D-ATM API, a software vendor that hosts data for a clinic or any organization that uses a clinical software would have to register with D-ATM for authorized data transfer. Complete details are described in the document.

At this time, the D-ATM project is seeking comments from the software community on the API. You may submit your comments to: DATM@samhsa.hhs.gov with the subject heading of
"D-ATM API". Comments are being sought by August 13, 2007.

Thank you.
